The Saharan jacket is an old military garment, the official uniform of the British army in India at the end of the 19th century. Structured with epaulets, a light belt, and numerous patch pockets, it was designed to withstand hot climates. The Second World War, and conflicts in the Sahara, gave it its current name.

We are revisiting it today because we find it very practical with its pockets and its lightness. We offer it in a fabric perfectly suited for the season: a 100% twisted wool(of the "Fresco" type) from the English house Alfred Brown. It is a wool yarn twisted on itself, which offers a very breathable, almost wrinkle-free weave with a lot of body.

You choose from 6 possible colors. The presence - or absence - of an outer belt and epaulets, the size, the back and sleeve length, and the text and color of the embroidery for personalization.

Origin of the name : the Hoggar is a mountain range in the heart of the Algerian Sahara. Rock merges with dunes, the crushing heat of the day with the frost of starry nights. A territory of stories by Frison Roche, Théodore Monod or Eric Emmanuel Schmitt that made us dream.

The production time varies between 4 and 6 weeks.

It's usually 4-5 weeks for suits, jackets, and pants. And 6 weeks for other pieces.

As soon as the workshop sends us your project, we'll ship it to you free of charge if you're in France, and according to the scale for other countries. We'll also make it available for you to try on at the Paris boutique.
