The Saharan jacket is an old military garment, the official uniform of the British Army in India in the late 19th century. Structured with epaulettes, a lightweight belt, and lined with patch pockets, it was designed to withstand hot climates. World War II and conflicts in the Sahara gave it its current name.


We revisit its practical use with a very elegant linen and merino fabric, to reinforce its “couture” DNA.

There is only one 48/49 size left, the one used for the shooting.

Origin of the name: The Hoggar is a mountain range in the heart of the Algerian Sahara. Rock blends with dunes, the crushing heat of the day with the frost of starry nights. A land of stories by Frison Roche, Théodore Monod, and Eric Emmanuel Schmitt that have made us dream.

The Hoggar jacket fits true to size. We recommend choosing your usual jacket size, and adjusting the arm and back length to your body shape if necessary.

Style: The linen and wool fabric we chose gives this piece a dressy identity, while remaining practical with its pockets. It will therefore perfectly complement your formal wardrobe in place of a blazer, over a shirt, a lightweight knit, or a polo shirt. The almond green color allows for all spring combinations.

Dry clean only.

Steam de-crease recommended to remove creases.
