To lighten the weight of traditional pea coats, which are often heavy and rigid, we have selected an exceptional wool, from the first shearing of baby llamas. Very breathable, it can withstand temperatures of -20°C in winter and +35°C in summer, just like in the Andes, at an altitude of 3,500 m.

 

This fabric transforms a very classic piece into a unique piece, completely in the Wolbe DNA.

The Malo pea coat is part of our UPCYCLING capsule collection. The principle is simple. Rather than launching a 300-meter production run of fabric, we use existing cuts and re-sell them. Fewer resources wasted for the planet, less inventory. And ultra-exclusive collections for you. It's a win-win. This fabric comes from a company within the LVMH group.

 

Origin of the name: we obviously evoke the corsair city that we adore, to celebrate this marine piece par excellence. Its ramparts, the large Sillon beach, and the high tides that attack the sea wall.

The pea coat fits true to size. As it is a double-layered wool, we do not recommend wearing a jacket underneath.

Style: Very comfortable, it really surprises with its softness and lightness. When it's cold, we wear it closed to be completely insulated. The collar raised in the neck provides infinite warmth. The soft tones of the colors allow associations with all shades and materials. We particularly like the camel with chocolate tones (London high neck sweater, nubuck boots) or off-white. We brightened the gray with sky blue to play with contrast. The appearance of the material reinforces the cocoon and sportswear side of an outfit.
