The aviator (or bomber) jacket was born after the First World War to protect pilots flying in unpressurized cockpits, exposed to temperatures as low as -60°.
Leslie Leroy Irvin, an American parachutist, designed the first model in the 1920s. The model is called “The Irvin” or “the flying jacket”. Made of sheepskin, with a wide collar to keep out the cold.
From 1927 onwards, the U.S. Army produced a range of different models to suit different needs. The lightest, standardized under the letter A, are the “aviator” jackets. Made of leather, cotton or silk. Warmer jackets are “bomber jackets”, standardized under the letter B. Designed for bomber pilots, and fighter pilots in winter.
After the war, US Air Force pilots became icons of American culture, popularizing the “aviator” jacket. The model was adopted by many Hollywood stars and TV series in the 70s.

Deliveries, returns and exchanges
Our clothes are designed and made to fit perfectly, in accordance with the brand’s characteristic fit, clearly detailed on the website. So that you can try them on with complete peace of mind and confidence, here are our delivery and returns conditions.
Parts manufactured to order, and assembled specifically to your personal specifications, will not be returned or exchanged.
For Metropolitan France, Monaco and Corsica
We deliver free of charge in 3-5 working days in a relay point -in partnership with La Poste- and to your home -Colissimo delivery without signature-.
You have 40 days -from its delivery date- to return a product to us (except for “made-to-order” parts).
The garment must be perfectly clean – no odour, no stains, no marks – and without any redhibitory defect when it is sold again under the same conditions.
We reserve the right to refuse the return in this case.
The return is free of charge.

You will receive a return label to drop off the return box at your nearest parcel shop.
To limit the impact on the environment, use the box that was used for the first delivery – a self-adhesive tab is available under the pediment. Reinforce the box if it seems too fragile.

The cost of delivery is indicated at the time of check out (grid attached).
You have 40 days -from the date of delivery- to return the clothes.
The garment must be perfectly clean -no odour, no stains, no marks- and without any redhibitory defect for resale under the same conditions.
We may refuse a refund/exchange where appropriate but beware, you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods.
